The pie has certainly earned its claim to fame. With a delicate crust topped with dewdrops of a syrupy liquid, it has an honest, homemade simplicity suggestive of citrus fruits and of carefully measured sugar, of loving hands that shaped and rolled and baked the pie.
In a scale of 1 to 10, I rate this pie 8.
Tip: You should buy lemon pie as early as 10AM as it will be sold out by 3-4PM.
